Quality Built into the Process
Quality cannot depend on final inspection alone. Our approach is to build quality into product design, sourcing, manufacturing, testing, and delivery through a prevention-oriented quality management system.
Quality Management Framework
Our quality system is supported by railway-industry and manufacturing standards and certifications, including IRIS/ISO 22163, ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and other applicable requirements. These standards are incorporated into our internal procedures, production controls, documentation, and verification activities.
Incoming Quality Control
Critical raw materials and components are subject to supplier qualification and incoming inspection according to defined requirements. Where appropriate, materials and components are managed by batch to support traceability throughout production.
In-Process Quality Control
Quality-control points are established at critical stages of production.
Depending on the process and product, controls may include:
• first-article inspection.
• in-process inspection.
• dimensional verification.
• welding inspection.
• process-parameter monitoring.
• final workmanship inspection.
The objective is to identify and correct issues at the earliest possible stage rather than relying on final inspection alone.
Final Testing and Verification
Finished products undergo defined inspection and functional testing before delivery.
Depending on product and project requirements, verification may include:
• functional testing.
• electrical testing.
• powered endurance or burn-in testing.
• vibration testing.
• system integration testing.
• other application-specific validation.
These activities are intended to verify that equipment performs as specified under conditions representative of its intended railway application.
Installation and Commissioning Support
Where required, we provide installation guidance, commissioning support, and assistance during final customer acceptance. This helps ensure that the equipment is correctly integrated into the vehicle or system and that any project-specific interface requirements are addressed before entry into service.
Delivery Management
Rail projects require close coordination across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and logistics. For key customer programmes, including projects for CRRC companies, dedicated project teams coordinate activities across these functions to support schedule control and timely delivery.
